The Alumnae & Alumni Association was formed in
2006 from the previous Alumni Council (founded in 1986) to foster
and strengthen relationships between alums and the seminary.
Gary Sandberg, (TLS '88) is Director of Development and Alumni
Relations. He previously served congregations in the Minneapolis
area and most recently in Schenectady, NY.
David Smedley, President, (TLS '92), is Pastor at Hope Lutheran
Church in Ellijay, GA. Prior to that he served as Associate Pastor
at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta, GA for seven years.
Timothy Philabaum, Secretary, (TLS '80), is
Senior Pastor at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg, OH.
Larry Hoffsis, Financial Secretary, (ELTS '63)
is Pastor Emeritus at Ephihany Lutheran Church in Dayton, OH.
