Trinity offers a variety of pastoral resources in support of the whole seminary community. The daily worship life, spiritual direction retreats, individual confession and forgiveness, support groups, and Life Together committees all contribute to the spiritual well-being of the community. Pastoral counseling from skilled professionals is also available.








Ruth Fortis

The Rev. Ruth Fortis serves as full-time pastor to the seminary community. As pastor to the community, she is available to mentor to all students, faculty, and staff, and provides an opportunity for individual Confession and Forgiveness. She also participates in Life Together, oversees I-Group assignments, and helps plan various extra-curricular activities.

Spiritual Direction. A spiritual director is available on campus to students and staff for conversation by appointment. Additional spiritual directors are available through The Spirituality Network.

Pastoral Counselors. If referral for in-depth psychotherapeutic counseling is needed, Pastor Ruth can provide information about professional counselors.
