Trinity Receives Lilly Grant to Fund New Position

Trinity Lutheran Seminary has received a new grant from the Lilly Foundation for work with youth and young adults. As a result, the seminary is now seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Director for Vocational Discernment and Seminary Summer Sampler.

This person will work with the Pastor to the Community and the Director of Admissions to plan and implement the Summer Sampler program and other aspects of vocational discernment, especially with youth and young adults. The individual will share responsibility for representing the Sampler program and the Department of Admissions at synodical and other events; coordinate the admissions presence and Summer Sampler presence in social networking sites; travel to colleges, campus ministries, and outdoor ministry sites, and coordinate a seminary presence in these settings.
